Description
This blend is for dogs diagnosed with EPI. Instead of the need to feed the powdered enzymes, this blend contains raw pancreas which contain natural enzymes. Most of the dogs that have been on this food since diagnosis have gained back the weight and the spark in their eye. Their coats become healthy again. Sometimes the powdered pancreatic enzymes from the vet can cause ulcers in the mouth and throat. We have had good success in keeping those EPI pups healthy!
This blend contains a nice mix of Green tripe, beef liver (5%) and beef kidney (5%), Pancreas, beef heart and Beef and your choice of poultry (Duck, Turkey or Chicken)
We do recommend rotating in ground or whole sardines for omegas and trace mineral content. They can be fed either with the meal or as a treat an hour or so after the meal while the pancreatic enzymes in the formula are still present.
